The Perfect Match for a new optimized POS Infrastructure
In 2017, 1. FSV Mainz 05, the famous German Bundesliga Football Club, decided to comprehensively revamp and modernize the IT POS infrastructure in the formerly called “OPEL ARENA”, known today as “MEWA ARENA”.
After intensive tendering and technical testing stages, the choice fell on YUNO POS systems from ADVANTECH-AURES. The modern, reliable and user-friendly hardware was installed in all retail & snack kiosks, fan shops, and ticketing areas, ensuring smooth and quick operations on match days ever since.
Early 2025, the YUNO equipment was thoroughly inspected by ADVANTECH-AURES Germany’s technicians and specialists to ensure proper upgrading and smooth functionalities and operations.
Thanks to YUNO’s sustainable and modular hardware concept, the systems could easily be upgraded and adapted to the customer’s new IT requirements, ensuring continuous, reliable and efficient till and POS management processes.
Thanks to the robust and maintenance-friendly YUNO systems (about 200 units are currently in service), Mainz 05 is able to continuously and optimally serve its fans – whatever their needs: buying tickets, fan products or goodies, food, drinks and other snacks, etc.
